Do you know Bukittinggi??? Bukittinggi is one of the larger cities in West Sumatra. Bukitttinggi has many tourism place such as :

1. Jam Gadang

Jam Gadang is a beautiful place in Bukittinggi. Jam Gadang is the icon of Bukittinggi City. Jam Gadang has unique in number 4 is written with different roman number that is IIII. Jam Gadang already three times the renovations on the roof, that is the Dutch colonial times, then the Japanese occupation and the last when Indonesia has been independent.

2. Sianok Canyon (Ngarai Sianok )

Do you know Grand Canyon??? Grand Canyon is a one of Tourism place in American. In Bukittinggi there is also a famous canyon that is Sianok Canyon. Sianok canyon has beautiful scenery and became one of the main tourist object. Inside Sianok Canyon there is a river named Sianok River (Batang Sianok).

3. Japanese Caves (Lubang Jepang)

Located in the upper Sianok Canyon, the central town of Bukittinggi. Japanese Caves that have some rooms used as an ammunition room, meeting room, holding room, bedroom, living for workers romusha membengkitkan amazement of the past in the manufacturing process. Japanese Cave has 3 m high, 2 meters wide is undergoing renovation in the form of hardening of the high hill by the city government. That is beautiful place. It's a travel experience that you'll never forget.

4. Fort De Kock Fortress (Benteng Fort De Kock)

This fortress was built in the peak in the Bukittinggi city in 1825 when the people's opposition happening that was led by Mr I Imam the Protruberance and the Nan Salapan Tiger against the Netherlands.

Around this Fortress still could be seen by us the old gun the period of the XIX masehi age. This wide place was decorated with the garden as the place of the height witnessed, the Sianok Gorge and surrounding hills were gotten the old gun and the fortress building. This was the best place in Bukittinggi witnessed Sunset.

5. Bukittinggi Zoo

Bukittinggi zoo is one of tourism objects in Bukittinggi city. Beside a zoo, on this area we also can see:

1. Museum Rumah Gadang, where you can see the Minangkabau’s art and culture.

2. Limpapeh Bridge, the bridge which is connecting the zoo and the fortress, from this bridge you can watch the view of Bukittinggi city with two famous mountain background on both side; the Marapi mountain and Singgalang mountain.

6. Ekasatriya Mandala Museum

In Bukittinggi also have one museum, that is Museum Ekasatriya Mandala. In this museum visitors can see the collection of weapons and other relics were found mainly from Japan are at the museum this hole there is an ancient fighter who ever owned RI
